Hey Decor Friends,
Today I wanted to chat with you about the color white. It is a huge trend right now to be painting entire homes a clean and bright white. White kitchens are always a classic, and we know that white bathrooms have been having their moment in the spotlight. What if you don’t like white? You have have littles ones and you are not looking to clean ANYHTHING ELSE. I completely get it. Today I want to share with you some ideas to incorporate white into your home without stressing out your cleaning sensibilities.
Picture Frames – white is a timeless and chic and way to display your art. Adding a white matting around your picture just adds one more layer of beautiful serenity to your photos and art. White frames can either a punctuate a wall color with high contrast or blend into a neutral wall adding a clean and peaceful layer.
Your table is fabulous place to add white too. I am not a cook by any stretch of the mind but, white service pieces can make any meal look terrific. It actually aids in your experience in tasting food. Starting off with a neutral background offers you the ability to experience the food for its essence, and allows your tastebuds to not be effected by your visual perception of the food. Again not my words, this queen of the kitchen has no business giving food information, just passing along something I read. You’re welcome….
Not only can your white serveware look great on your table but it can provide a beautiful visual collection on open shelving, behind glass cabinetry and on top of buffets. Function and fashion, the perfect accessory.
White Hand Towel
Nothing says crisp and clean like a white hand towel. Consider adding a new, white hand towel to your powder room. You may have littles using that space but when you want to have an instant pop of color, which in turn elicits the experience of cleanliness without pulling out the Mr. Clean, a crisp white towel can do the trick.
There you have it friends, 3 ways to incorporate white into your everyday living.
