Bright and Beautiful: Must-Have Summer Paint Colors for a Stylish Home

Hey Decor Friend,

Paint colors are always a hot topic and this summer is no different. Wondering what is trending this season? Well here are my thoughts on summer 2024.

This summer, it's all about refreshing and vibrant colors that bring life and warmth into your home. Here are the top paint color trends you’ll love:

Soft Pastels: Think of gentle shades like soft lavender, blush pink, and mint green. They add a soothing, modern touch to any room and are perfect for creating a calming atmosphere.

Warm Neutrals: Cozy up your space with warm neutrals like beige, taupe, and warm gray. These versatile shades are timeless and go well with any decor style.

Bold Accents: Add a splash of personality with bold colors like deep teal, mustard yellow, and terracotta. Use them for an accent wall or in small spaces to make a statement.

Earthy Tones: Bring the outdoors in with rich, earthy colors like olive green, burnt sienna, and clay. These shades create a grounded, serene vibe.

Ocean Blues: Inspired by the water, shades of blue—from soft sky blue to deep navy—are perfect for a cool, tranquil feel.

Sunny Yellows: Brighten up your home with cheerful yellows. These sunny shades add energy and make any room feel more lively.

Nature-Inspired Greens: Freshen up your space with greens like sage and emerald. They bring a touch of nature indoors and add a sense of vitality.

Wether you are looking to add vitality, calm, serenity or a splash of color, there is a paint color for you. Often times, before I start a project with people, I will ask them how they want to feel in the space they are looking to update. Answer that question and you will be on your way to figuring out the best color for your walls.
