Hello Decor Friends.
We actually have experienced crisper mornings here win NC. Have you started to feel the changing of the seasons?
Fall is such a cozy and inspiring time for home decor projects. Here are my top three ideas to help you make your home feel warm and inviting this season:
Fall Wreath: Why not start with the entrance to your home? Gather some faux fall leaves, pinecones, and a grapevine wreath from your local craft store. With a little hot glue and creativity, you can craft a beautiful fall wreath to hang on your front door. Add some ribbon or a seasonal sign for an extra touch of charm.
Designer Tip You do not have to stick with traditional fall colors. In fact if you’re home, your front door does not have to play friendly with orange, skip it and choose a more complimentary color.
Cozy Throw Pillow Covers: Fall is all about snuggling up on the couch with a warm drink. To make your living room feel extra inviting, consider making or buying some fall-themed throw pillow covers. Think rustic plaids, warm earth tones, and soft textures. Swap out your summer pillows for these, and you'll instantly create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Remember texture is a design superpower and think about how you can use your pillow covers throughout the entire fall winter seasons.
Embrace the spirit of fall by incorporating pumpkin-themed decor throughout your home. You don't need to go overboard – a few carefully placed decorative pumpkins, candles, or table centerpieces can do wonders. Mix in some cinnamon-scented candles, and your home will be filled with the delightful aroma of fall. And remember, we are not bossed around by “trendy” decor. If pumpkins are not your thing, think acorns, pinecones, sunflowers, apples or mums. All of these items are a nod to the season.
Remember, the key to successful home decor projects is to have fun and let your personality shine through. Enjoy making your home a beautiful and welcoming space for the fall season! 🍁🍂🏡
Have you been inspired to do any projects this weeken
