Hello Decor Friends!

If you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year and suddenly looked at your table thinking, “Hmm… this needs a little magic,”don’t worry—I’ve got you. Creating a beautiful tablescape doesn’t have to involve days of prep or a cart full of décor. With just a few simple touches, you can pull together something warm, festive, and totally charming—yes, even at the last minute!

Let’s start with the easiest trick in the book: candles. Seriously, grab whatever you’ve got—pillars, tapers, tea lights, mismatched jars—and cluster them down the center of your table. The mix of heights and shapes instantly gives that gorgeous Thanksgiving glow. Set them on a cutting board, a pretty tray, or even a piece of kraft paper to make the whole display look intentional.

Designer Tip

Keep them unscented so they don’t fight with your delicious turkey aromas. Add a few snips of greenery or scatter mini pumpkins or pinecones around the candles, and just like that… cozy holiday magic.

Next up, take a quick stroll to your kitchen—because produce makes the prettiest natural décor. Lay down a simple runner (or leftover wrapping paper—yes, really!), then scatter apples, pears, pomegranates, mini squash, or even artichokes right down the center. Mix sizes and colors, work in odd numbers, and tuck in some rosemary or sage for that soft, earthy touch. It’s rustic, abundant, and feels like a Thanksgiving bounty right on your table.

And if your table still needs a little something extra? Layer those linens! This is the easiest way to add texture and warmth. Start with a tablecloth, runner, or even a folded throw blanket as your base. Then add placemats or chargers, followed by cloth napkins in those yummy fall tones—rust, olive, cinnamon, cream. Tie each napkin with twine or ribbon and tuck in a leaf, cinnamon stick, or tiny name tag for a personal touch.

Designer Tip

In a pinch, dish towels make fantastic oversized napkins and look surprisingly chic when tied up with ribbon.

The best part? All of these ideas take just minutes, use things you likely already have, and instantly make your Thanksgiving table feel special and inviting.

So tell me—which of these festive, last-minute looks are you trying this year?

Wising you a wonderful weekend, full of memory making moments,

Until Next Time,

~Tatum
